Special Educational Needs (SEN)

At Adel Primary School we aim:

‘For every child to thrive in our safe and caring environment and enjoy

a stimulating learning journey.’

We create an inclusive ethos by providing a happy, caring environment, where all children feel secure to explore, question, make mistakes and persevere; thus developing the skills to become successful learners.

Accessibility Plan

School's Accessibility Plan.

The purpose of the plan is

  • to ensure that we can support disabled pupils to access and participate in the curriculum
  • to improve the physical environment to enable disabled pupils to take better advantage of the education, benefits, facilities and services we provide
  • to make all disabled pupils aware of our accessibility plan

The Leeds Local Offer

The Local Offer provides information for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their parents or carers in a single place. It shows families what they can expect from a range of local agencies including education, health and social care.
