Our Music curriculum is designed to engage and inspire all pupils, helping them develop a lifelong love of music and nurture their musical talents. Through a rich and varied program, we aim to build confidence, creativity, and musical understanding.

All pupils will:

• Perform, Listen, Review, and Evaluate
  Explore music across a wide range of historical periods, genres, styles, and traditions, including the works of great composers and musicians.

• Create and Compose
  Learn to sing and use their voices, compose music individually and collaboratively, and have opportunities to learn a musical instrument. Pupils also use technology appropriately and are supported to progress to the next level of musical excellence.

• Understand and Explore
  Discover how music is created, produced, and communicated through the interrelated dimensions of music: pitch, duration, dynamics, tempo, timbre, texture, structure, and appropriate musical notation.
