Year 5 Mock Election

In the week leading up to the general election Year 5 learned about the democratic system in the UK.

We decided to have a mock election in our class, the children created their own political parties, slogans, manifestos and even filmed a party political broadcast. Year 6 were invited into our class on the final day to hear the arguments, watch the campaign videos and to cast their vote.

Who would get your vote?

In Science we have been learning about forces; we did some practical activities to investigate. Are these forces balanced or unbalanced?
