 Holidays and In the Garden

Parents, please can you search your house and garden for creepy crawlies,

with your child of course.

We had a fantastic day out at St Leonard's Farm.
Many thanks to all the parents and grandparents who joined us on our trip.

We had a great time exploring the school grounds looking for minibeasts.

Symmetry - we made butterflies and decorated them symmetrically, some groups cut out and matched butterflies then coloured them in.

Symmetry - We enjoyed playing a memory game to match our butterflies

Languages week was fun.

We dined at Le cafe Francais

Oscar's mum came in to class to teach us to speak Thai. She was amazing. Thank you!

We enjoyed the French dancing class.

We went to the European market.

We made the Eiffel Tower.

We loved playing Boules. It got quite competative.

Report form, parent comments

We had an amazing time when Lion Learners came to our school. Rob showed us some of his pets. He has 80 altogether. He let us stroke them, or hold them if we were brave.

We met Arthur the lop-eared rabbit, Millie the millipede, William the bearded lizard, Harry the hedgehog, Luna the snake and Sally the scorpian. We learnt so much about how they live and grow. It was such fun!

Viva Espana!

We hatched our own chicks.

We made some fabulous chick houses - 5* accomodation

They're so cute!

We have been exploring 'Room on the Broom' by Julia Donaldson this week. You see us flapping like 'green bird' and bounding like 'keen dog' .

We have had lots of fun seeing how many times we can do things in just a minute. Look at us counting how many times we can run from one side of the playground to the other, slide down the slide and even hop along the balance logs.

We were delighted when Shaam's mum and Barney's dad came in to reception class to talk about their jobs.

Just look at these amazing writers!

We had an amazing time on our trip to Pudsey Police Station.

It was great fun dressing up as police officers.

Recent highlights! We love to make and create.

We were thrilled when Anisha's mum came in to talk about her job as a doctor.

Can you design and make a bag for a gift? Yes we can!

Can you make an air-powered rocket?

Maths is fun! Can you explore different ways of making 10?

These children enjoyed making number lines.
